(Munich, September 25, 2013) With effect from September 16, 2013 the KraussMaffei Group will bring its injection molding activities of the Netstal and KraussMaffei brands together under one roof in Italy. Management of the subsidiary KraussMaffei Group Italia s.r.l. will be in the hands of Andrea Bottelli, the previous head of Netstal's Italian subsidiary. The subsidiaryKrauss Maffei Italiana s.r.l. will operate in future solely as a Center of Excellence for Reaction Process Machinery under the aegis of Gabriele Amodeo.
Strong market presence under one roof

KraussMaffei Group Italia s.r.l. in Cerro Maggiore, the location of the former Italian subsidiary of Netstal, will market all sales activities of the Netstal and KraussMaffei brands in the area of injection molding machinery with effect from September 16, 2013. "I am looking forward to this new challenge and am convinced that, by pooling the know-how of KraussMaffei and Netstal, we will be able in future to offer injection molding customers in Italy value-added in regard to their specific requirements," said Andrea Bottelli, Head of KraussMaffei Group Italia s.r.l. Both brands will continue to be independently represented on the market. This means that all customers can choose the right product that is best suited to their requirements from the extensive and premium quality product portfolios of both brands.
Center of Excellence for Reaction Process Machinery in Abbiategrasso
In the process, the subsidiary KraussMaffei Italiana s.r.l. will in future concentrate solely on business activities in the Reaction Process Machinery sector. "KraussMaffei has in recent years built up a Center of Excellence for Reaction Process Machinery in Abbiategrasso and is very well positioned to serve customers from the industrial white appliances sector in particular. Our aim is to further strengthen this Center of Excellence under the proven leadership of Gabriele Amodeo. I would like wish him and his team every success," emphasized Nicolas Beyl, President of the Reaction Process Machinery Segment in the KraussMaffei Group. Gianmario Bossi, who was also previously responsible for Injection Molding Machinery Sales, will in future concentrate solely on Reaction Process Machinery Sales.
