HY-series water-based bentonite is a kind of natural aluminum magnesium silicate thickening and rheological additive. Its main ingredient is hydrophilic and high purity (modified) montmorillonite. The performance of the gel is similar to that of the products (Veegum or Magnabrite) produced by American Findbeer Company. This product is widely used in water-based coating, emulsion paint, toothpaste, cosmetic, rubber, papermaking and so on. It acts as floatability, thixotropic agent, stabilizer, thickening agent. In foundry coating and various ceramics colorful glaze coatings, it is used as floatability and thixotropic agent. Compared to using organic polymer such as CMC, HEC respectively, the performance of this products is better in many aspects. |
