Overview:

Dibutyltin dilaurate is an organotin additive that is soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, toluene, carbon tetrachloride, ethyl acetate, chloroform, acetone, petroleum ether and all industrial plasticizers, but insoluble in water. The high boiling point multi-purpose organotin catalysts on the market, dibutyltin dilaurate, are usually treated with special liquefaction, light yellow or colorless oily liquid at room temperature, white crystals at low temperature, can be used in PVC plastic additives, with excellent lubricity, transparency, weather resistance. Good resistance to sulfide pollution. It is used as stabilizer in soft transparent products, and as efficient lubricant in hard transparent products. It can also be used as catalyst for cross-linking reaction of acrylate rubber and carboxyl rubber, synthesis of polyurethane foam and polyester synthesis, catalyst for room temperature vulcanization of silicone rubber.
